MY POSTER ANALYSIS...
These are two poster variations of the poster for The Hunger Games Part 2.

The COMPOSITION of the poster, features the main character 'Katniss Everdeen' only. this suggests that she is the protagonist of the film and she is more important then anyone else. In the first poster, it shows her side profile while she's in her combat attire with a mockingly on her shoulder. She seems to be among the clouds. All these aspects together suggest that it is the end of something and she is a very serene intuitive character with a burden on her shoulders. the second poster shows 'Katniss Everdeen' in a fighting stance holding a bow and around with is a weapon of combat. she wears the same outfit. There is an illustration of a mockingjay behind her while its wings create an image of Katniss with wings. this suggests that she in the mockingjay and is a symbol of hope. The fact that the mockingjay behind her is on fire, may symbolise the idea that she is a strong powerful independent woman that is influencing the people. she is the leader and therefore she is the main character featured on both posters. The GENERIC ELEMENTS include the idea that she is holding a bow and arrow suggesting she is a woman of power and action. the mockingjay is also a generic element as it is strong in symbolism. another generic element in the poster is her outfit. it is red which represents anger and passion. she is a fighter and she is committed to her cause. The STARS/DIRECTORS include Francis Lawrence which is the director, Jennifer Lawrence which is the main character Katniss Everdeen, Liam Hemsworth, Josh Hutcherson, Woody Harrelson and Elizabeth Banks. The UNIQUE SELLING POINT is that it is an action film that features a strong young independent women as the main protagonist. This is a positive role model for young women. the TARGET AUDIENCE is young teenagers because of the action and adventure elements.

After infiltrating a secret meeting, 007 uncovers the existence of the sinister organization SPECTRE. Needing the help of the daughter of an old nemesis, he embarks on a mission to find her. As Bond ventures toward the heart of SPECTRE, he discovers a chilling connection between himself and the enemy (Christoph Waltz) he seeks

SPECTRE - PRODUCTION PROCESS

PRE-PRODUCTION

Casting-
Daniel Craig has played James Bond in the last 4 films therefore they were previously certain that he would play the role as they were certain when casting him the first time. Christopher Waltz plays the villain in the film. There were two bond girls, Lea Seydoux and Monica Bellucci, both of significantly different ages both stunning in their own ways.

Costumes and Makeup-
Costumes in Spectre were to be very formal and fashionable. They had to be ordered and fitted perfectly to the actors. Suits and elegant dresses to show the expensive extravagant aspect of the Bond films. Also, makeup was used to create the realistic look of bruises and wounds to make it look believable.

Sets and props-
The cars featured were a very important aspect of the film as all Bond films have been particularly special because of the expensive cars. They used the the cars to create publicity and advertise the cars to sell to the highest bidder. Seeing as though the Bond films are extremely popular the car would be sold for an immense amount of money. The high tech gadgets. For example the guns.

The script-

Whilst the script was being developed, there was a general idea of what they wanted the film to be based around and the script took a total of approximately two years to complete however the first draft was delayed and was re-written by Jez Butterworth and completed the script by November 2014

SPECTRE - DISTRIBUTION

THE POSTER ANALYSIS…

- The COMPSOTION of the poster is very simple but distinctive at the same time and the font stands out in a very subtle way. The word Spectre is another word for ghost. This suggests a threatening aspect and the fact that the back-round is blue suggests a cold forward-thinking, unemotional head space, possibly of the main character, James Bond. The main character, who is played by Daniel Craig, has a very strong posture. From this we can connote that he is quite brave and strong whilst being intimidating from the gaze from his blue eyes looking straight at you. He wears a suit of black and white which is different to his traditional black tuxedo and this could suggest has turned a new page and is more seen as a hero and represents good instead of bad. The skeleton in the background could suggest the enemy and shows a very evil and sinister feel. The fact that the gun is place in front of the skeleton suggests the elements of hero and villain.

- The GENERIC ELEMENTS are the features such as the gun and the skeleton. The gun helps the viewer know that the film is an action and the fact that the gun has the silencer on shows that he is a spy and that he is silent but deadly.

- The TEASER ELEMENTS, are  the villainous character in the background which makes the viewer want to know who it is and this demonstrates the idea of pulling us into watching it.

-The STARS AND DIRECTORS include Daniel Craig, Monica Bellucci, Lea Seydoux and Ralph Fiennes.

-The UNIQUE SELLING POINT is the fact that it is another film that is adding to the legacy of bond films and because Daniel Craig is a well established actor.
- The TARGET AUDIENCE is mainly male dominated but does also have a female fan-base.
